Changemakers Launch A Day of Hope for Victims of Domestic Abuse

"At Create Impact™, the two things we love most in the world are bringing joy to people, and raising awareness for important causes." - Rachel Carlsen, Founder of Create Impact

We got to do both of these things when we teamed up with the Jenesse Center for Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention at Spice Salon in Los Angeles, for a special DAY OF HOPE.

On January 23, 2023, eleven beautiful women were invited to enjoy a day of pampering. Spice Salon and Team Impact provided hair stylists, make-up artists, manicurists and pedicurists throughout the day, in a safe space where the women could relax and renew on their journeys toward healing…and thriving.

Not only were hair, make-up and nails taken care of, but each woman left with a brand new outfit from Cabi! THANK YOU to all of our artists! 🤎

An incredible lunch of custom made dishes with names such as I AM THRIVING and I AM POWERFUL, was sponsored by Pasta Sisters.

Its creative director, Giorgia Sinatra, joined us and shared with the women her own story of overcoming adversity. THANK YOU Giorgia and Pasta Sisters!! 🤎

THANK YOU to our wonderful sponsors for making our Day of Hope truly special. The women received Create Impact™ gift bags with T-Shirts featuring our sponsors' logos, and beautiful jewelry and other items from Wishbeads, Kamaria, Starfish Project, I Support The Girls, Ladybug Potions, and Mantraband.

Through our Use Your Bottle, Change Our World campaign, the women were also gifted Create Impact™ and UNDP water bottles as part of our shared mission to promote the Sustainable Development Goals for a better world by 2030.

Rachel Carlsen & Jenesse Center

All in all it was an amazing and inspiring day. The women left feeling beautiful, loved and valued, and that’s everything Team Impact could hope for 🤎

Day of Hope events are organized as part of our Day of Hope Program. We work to bring hope, inspiration, education, and financial support to women and youth facing domestic abuse, trafficking, and other hardships.

Are you looking for ways to empower women?

Our next event is Q4 2023. Join us and help Create Impact!
